Legacy Churches Book-

legacy churchesLegacy Churches has been written to offer hope, wisdom and courage to leaders who must consider the pathway of becoming a legacy church.

In 2009, authors Stephen Gray and Franklin Dumond published the book Legacy Churches which has become one of the leading resources in identifying this dynamic impacting churches in America.

In 2011, Kairos Legacy Partners joined forces with Stephen Gray to expand awareness of church life-cycles and promote the vision of legacy resources and their value in underwriting the work of future oriented ministries. The Legacy Churches Workbook has also been created as a companion to the author’s original publication.

Both of these books are available for purchase through ChurchSmart.com.

Here is an excerpt from the Foreword to Legacy Churches:

“Aging has a way of making us look at life from a different perspective than when we were younger. Like many people, in the first half of my life I was concerned about making a living and being successful in my chosen profession. In the second half of my life, however, my thoughts are focused on being significant to others, particularly my own family. In short, I am concerned about leaving a legacy to my children and grandchildren. I want my family to remember me as a person who loves God, loves his family, and loves others.”

As the authors point out in Legacy Churches, a similar cycle takes place in churches (or it should).
